Leap Year's mission is to use an intergenerational approach to equip elementary and recent high school graduates with the tools to achieve their academic and leadership potential. We envision a world where all children reach their full potential.
In 2021, your donations helped Leap Year:
Fund 18 Leap Year Fellows for 2021-22 academic year
Provide literacy tutoring to 220 2nd grade students in 3 different elementary schools
Provide mental health counseling to our fellows during the pandemic
Enroll our Fellows in 2 college courses through Georgia State University
Prepare our fellows for future college enrollment, financial aid procurement and college success, including the first full college scholarship for one of our fellows
